Suzanne Husky

Sleeper Cell : A group of people(sleepers) who remain dormant in a community until activated, by a prearranged signal, to perform acts of espionage, sabotage, or terrorism.

I want to live in Suzanne Husky’s Sleeper Cells. They are these amazing small pods that seem to be cozy and quaint inside and blend in with a natural environment for protection from the outside. She was just selected to be one of the artists in Bay Area Now at www.ybca.org as well as a residency at The Headlands for the Arts in Marin. There is a great interview with her from last year on KQED, www.kqed.org.

She has tons of interesting projects, so please take a look at her work, www.suzannehusky.com.

SO inspiring and magical–I love the textures; I feel like I’d be Alice falling down the rabbit hole in one of these.
