LPP artist, Sarah Thibault, has two art openings in San Francisco this weekend. New Work, If I could paint like Matisse everyday I would, 2011 New Work, Dear David Hockney, I wan to be the Summer to Your Winter, 2011

Mark Wolfe Contemporary | Opening Sept. 9, 6-8 pm

Thibault will be showing a few new paintings along side Jacob Tillman’s solo show, By Extension.

Root Division | Opening Sept. 10, 7-10 pm

Thibault is also a featured artist in Root Division’s Introductions exhibit. She will be doing a large installation which will include a surprise mix of painting, drawing, and sculpture inspired by historical French motifs. Fellow LPP member, Maggie Haas will also be in the show. Other artist include: Nathan Haenlein, Noah Krell, Kija Lucas, Samuel Mell, Alexis Grant, Mik Gaspay, Victoria Wagner, Zina Al-Shruki, and C. Wright Daniel.

Recently discovered her work and am very impressed. That “If I Could Paint Like Matisse Everyday I Would” is just beautiful. Might have to go and explore Mark Wolfe Gallery’s back room.
